Kebobed!!!

Sunday afternoon seems to be the most creative time of the week. So this week I came up with a great idea of making kebabs. The beauty of my recipe is that it can be made so quickly; you just need to put together all the ingredients in a blender and thats most of the job done. I will tell you what you need to make these delicious, mouthwatering chicken kebabs. I personally cannot think of kebabs that are not made of meat but most of my lovely friends prefer chicken. They are not the carnvore type like me.

I will list the dry ingredients first. Lets start with my favourite spice, corriander powder (1/2 table spn), red chilli powder or paprika powder (1 tsp), 2 cloves,1 cardamom, 1 t spn turmeric powder, salt to taste and just a little bit of ground nutmeg. Now we need 250 gms of chicken breast, 2 cloves of garlic, 1 green chlli,a handful of fresh corriander leaves (be very generous), juice of half a lime and an egg. Now literally put everything in the blender or food processor and make a paste. Now if the paste is too runny and not sticky enough you can start by adding a little bit of wheat flour. You shouldnt need more that 1-2 tsp's. Now the kebab mix is done and its time to bake. Form little balls of the mix and place them in rows in a baking tray and bake them in a 200 degree C oven for 15 mins. Thats it !! You can drizzle olive oil to serve. It goes really well with any kind of flat bread or naans.
